From the beginning of mankind's fall until the end of this age, our Father's business has been and will always remain the same; the redemption of mankind to Himself. In another verse on the same issue Jesus made the statement, "But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick." ~Matthew 9:12 We who are saved by God's grace, were the very one's Christ was speaking of in this verse.
We all share the same root of sin and sickness! Our Father sent Jesus to show us His love made perfect. To show us how HE loves us and cares for us. Yes, Christ received sinners and ate meals with them. How else could HE show them the depth of God's love. Now, Jesus lives in us and by our Father's grace and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit, we are able to share this same love and grace.
We are called to do nothing less than love each other and spread God's Good News throughout our place in this world. Join me in asking our Father for the fullness of His love to fill us to overflowing.
